Frequently Asked Questions

Gear, Equipment, Rentals and Safety

In order to operate the motorcycle in a safe manner students who have a small inseam or any physical issue that may prevent them from having both feet on the ground while sitting on the motorcycle need to pre-visit the course site before booking into a course.

In order to take any of our motorcycle training courses you MUST be able to ride a bicycle with proficiency . We are unable to teach someone how to balance on 2 wheels. The learner is required to possess this skill before learning to ride a motorcycle.

We are not able to refund any individual that cannot continue with their course due to any medical or physical issue that occurs during the course. If you have any medial or physical conditions it is imperative that you ensure that you stop by the site to check if you can sit on the motorcycle and have the physical strength to operate it.

Yes. You must wear:

Full Face Helmet – DOT approved
Jacket – leather, denim, Kevlar, heavy rip-stop nylon
Pants – jeans, motorcycle pants, chaps

Gloves – leather, full-fingered

Rental gear payment can be made at the course site when you show up. We accept e-transfer or cash. If you are above/below the average persons height or size you must confirm we have the size that you require for gear.

No, we provide the training motorcycles for all of our Rider Elements courses. For Rider Tactics students may ride their own bikes or use our training motorcycle. All other courses students must provide their own motorcycle. Please see Courses for more detail.

We only use quality motorcycles – Honda’s and Suzuki’s. We believe that our students serve the best training motorcycles to learn on.

If the Instructor deems the student is a hazard to themselves and or other learners they will be required to leave the course with no refunds.

Anyone who is abusive or disruptive will be required to leave with no refunds.

If you have never been on a motorcycle or you are worried about the seat height or weight of the motorcycle then Introduction to Motorcycling is an inexpensive way to check it out.
